Recognizing these challenges, the Ugandan government has taken significant strides. The 2019 National Organic Agriculture Policy demonstrates a commitment to fostering this sector’s growth. Initiatives like training programs for farmers and support for producer organizations are paving the way for a thriving organic ecosystem.
