The Chamber of Aquaculture Ghana is set to host an event to celebrate the women in aquaculture on March 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event aims to empower women in the aquaculture sector through knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and awareness, fostering inclusivity and sustainability.
Key activities will include networking sessions where participants can exchange success stories, awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of women’s empowerment in aquaculture, stakeholder collaborations to promote industry growth, and recognition of outstanding contributions by women in the sector.
Women In Aquaculture
Women play a crucial role in Ghana’s aquaculture industry but often face barriers such as limited access to resources, training, and leadership opportunities.
